So in the video, we'll see how you can use some in-built CSS properties that will allow to simply turn a block of text (say a paragraph tag) into a certain number of columns.

This can be quickly done with the CSS column property which, as you'll see in the video, can take either the number of columns you would like to see or a specific width for your columns with which CSS will calculate the number of columns to divide your text into.

Once you've understood how the CSS column property works, we'll go through some of the additional properties that are available which allow you to fine tune the appearance of the CSS columns.

There are several CSS column properties which will allow you to control the appearance of how the columns are presented.

There are CSS properties to control the column-gap, column-width and the ability to control the appearance of a rule that appears in-between the CSS columns with additional properties to control the width, colour and style of this.
