Geography Data in Excel - Tutorial

Excel tutorial on how to get geographic data in Excel with your Microsoft 365 subscription.

All you need to do is list your locations in your spreadsheet. This can be in varying levels from country, state or province, county, cities or towns, and postal codes. At this time, you cannot use individual addresses or major landmarks.

Then, once you convert your data to Geography Data Type, you'll be able to pull various key geographic data for your locations using Excel's external data source.

Types of geography data that you can pull into Excel include: population, GDP, number of households, local leaders, median household income, life expectancy and more!
