Welcome to the Urban Survivor channel and in this video we’re going to be unboxing and taking a look at the Python QR from TEC Accessories which is made from titanium and built to last a lifetime and is one of the lightest and most durable Quick Releases available making it perfect for EDC, backpack or keychain carry for anyone who wants a great way to securely join two pieces of high quality and important gear together while also having the ability to quickly separate them.

I want to start off by thanking TEC Accessories who sent this out to the channel for review. TEC Accessories makes a ton of different high quality EDC gear and if you want to learn more you can check out their Amazon store which I’ll link to below along with a link to the Python QR.

Alright so inside the box there's the Quick Release and two small king rings. I’m going to take a second to attach the 2 keyrings and attach a set of car keys and the Skilhunt E3A flashlight.

The Python QR is made from grade 5 titanium which is really lightweight and corrosion resistant. It weighs just 4.4 grams or 0.155 ounces with the two key rings attached. The positive locking mechanism is very secure and there’s almost no chance of accidental activation and the connection is so strong that it can be trusted with heavier gear. To unlock the clip, you need to press down on each side with your fingers until you hear a click which will let you know you can pull it apart. To join the clip back together, just connect the pieces together and twist it and it will lock in place.

Overall I really like how tiny and useful this is and if you want to incorporate a really secure quick release into your EDC in on your keychain this is an excellent option to consider. This would be a great way of protecting and keeping edc tools, pens, keys, camera equipment and other gadgets connected. There are no moving parts, nothing to break, and nothing to replace.
