How To Set Up CMS Collection In Webflow (Full Tutorial)

Today we're going to be building out a CMS Collection in Webflow. I am going to show you how to create your CMS items, dynamically populate and format your collection list, and sort and filter your items on your live website.

I have been using Webflow to build my websites for years. If you are a novice website developer looking to launch a new project or business (and don't know how to code), your best bet is using Webflow. With Webflow, you code visually, and have complete control over your website down to the pixel. No more having to go through style sheets or JSON files in Wordpress in order to customize your site to your needs. With Webflow, you are able to visually code your website from scratch.

This is especially true when building out blog sites where you are going to be publishing content on a regular basis. With Webflow's CMS (Content Management System) you can create well-structured content with customizable fields, connect dynamic content to custom layouts, and filter and sort that content to your own personal needs.

In this video, I am going to build out a CMS collection to store and structure my blog posts. I am going to create custom fields that we will use to dynamically sort and filter by 'post-type' and show you how to populate your content. Then I will build out the structure of my blog inside my live website and pull in my content dynamically by linking directly to my CMS collection. Finally, I will show you how to automatically sort and filter your content so that you can structure your website in a clean and effective way.
