AD9959 RF DDS Module





First, the module features:



1, AD9959: 4 channels, 500MSPS, up to 200M sine wave output;

2, 2 / 4 channel independent frequency, amplitude and phase are adjustable;

3, 32-bit accumulator, the frequency resolution is better than 0.12HZ;

4, 14-bit phase register, phase resolution of 0.022 degrees;

5, 10-bit amplitude register, the amplitude of 1024 is finely adjustable;

6, 2nd order, 4th order, 8th order, 16th order, ASK, PSK, FSK powerful modulation function;

7, linear frequency, amplitude and phase sweep function;

8, independent programmable DAC output current;

9, high-speed SPI communication;

10, ultra-low power consumption, 4-channel 200M Signal tone output, power consumption is only 580mW;





Second, operation and description

1. Connect 5V power supply, the system working current is within 500MA.

2. The button S2 S3 is a mobile LCD cursor plus a line feed, and the S4 S5 button is added or subtracted.

3. There are 5 SMA connectors on the AD9959 core board, 4 are signal outputs, and the other is an external clock input signal. Remark: Channels 0, 1, 2, and 3 can output different frequencies, different phases, and sine waves of different amplitudes, and are independently controlled.

4. After power-on, the module initializes an I/Q signal with a frequency of 10 MHz and a phase difference of 90°. The 25 MHz active crystal oscillator and the internal frequency multiplier 20-times operation mode have a sampling rate of 500 MSa/s.
