Making an Ionic 5 React app with Cloud Firestore, camera, and geolocation app tutorial: Part 2

Starting with a fresh project but continuing from part 1, I show in this tutorial how to create a cross platform app using Ionic 5 and capacitor that displays, stores, edits, and deletes data from a cloud firestore realtime database including geolocation, images (camera pictures). I use React hooks to tap into firebase and the native camera and geolocation plugins with Capacitor. The resources alluded to in the tutorial are linked to below, and I'll eventually link the repo with the finished app when I conclude this series.

Here are the steps for the entire series:

Set up a github repo
Get node.js
Get react
Get angular
Get ionic
Setup ionic-react project with capacitor
Add react and firebase hooks
Setup firebase database
Setup the App UI
Hook up app UI to realtime database
Set up camera and geolocation with realtime database
Build to web, mobile, and desktop.
Deploy to all platforms including an aws ec2 instance and android tablet for testing flexibility and robustness of cross platform plugins.
Test app across all platforms.

Open a node terminal
Enter 'git clone https://github.com/danielhampikian/ionic_5_react_apps.git' (without the commas)
Cd to location of directory you want to run (realtime_cam_geo_app for this one)
Set up a firebase database and get the config variable (shown in video)
Past your own config variable into react-app-env.d.ts (also shown in video)
Run ‘npm install’
Run ‘ionic serve’
