Shooter Multiplayer Game Prototype # 1 - Unreal Engine 4

This is the first prototype of this shooter multiplayer game. This prototype is almost done entirely with C++. In this project, I've learned in more profundity how does Unreal Engine Multiplayer system work. There are some bugs as you can see in the video, but I'm happy with what I'm getting. I've learned how to use efficiently Unreal components. In this game, we have the inventory component, which is implemented in the loot box, and in the character. Or the interactable component which displays the world UI and allows you to interact with the object (Lootbox and the items on the map have this component, that is why they have the white silhouette ). Another Interesting point that I had to learn in this project is implementing an Aim Offset to our character skeletal mesh, which has combined stuff like the AimOffset blueprint, animations and Multiplayer.

One of the most important parts of this project is using hierarchy efficiently to make the code easier and more moldable. For example, All the cloth the character can equip comes from an initial Item class (has the basics of what an item on this game represents), which has a child class called GearItem (which does that character can equip them). Thanks to this hierarchy, Creating new equipable objects it's very easy and flexible.
