If you’re thinking of starting a Kony project, or you’ve recently started one, with a team of two or more developers, you will soon find out that proper versioning is critical to success. However, versioning in itself is not without difficulties.

The cross-platform nature of Visualizer makes for a very complex project anatomy, which will pose many questions, even for experienced SCM users.

During this webinar, we’ll try to address some of these questions and help you get started with —or get better at— using Git as a versioning tool for Visualizer projects.

· Common pitfalls specific to Visualizer projects.
· What must be versioned and what can be ignored.
· Basic Git tips and tricks which are especially useful for Visualizer projects.
This webinar is meant for novice or experienced Visualizer developers who are not yet familiar with the many options Git offers to version code and solve merge conflicts. We’ll be using Visualizer 8.x and the Git command line.
