Command Line Argument in Java is the information that is passed to the program when it is executed. The information passed is stored in the string array passed to the main() method and it is stored as a string.
It is the information that directly follows the program’s name on the command line when it is running.
A Java application can accept any number of arguments from the command line.
In a program, comments take part in making the program become more human readable by placing the detail of code involved and proper use of comments makes maintenance easier
and finding bugs easily. Comments are ignored by the compiler while compiling a code.
Single line comment - //
Multiline Comment -/* Write in between */
“\n” and “\t” are called “Escape sequences” in Java.
They are so-called because they denote an escape from the normal execution of the program.
“\n” is used inside a print statement and denotes that the control is transferred to the next line
and the text following “\n” is printed on the next line. “\t” takes control to the next tab-stop.
Syntax of for loop
for (statement 1; statement 2; statement 3) {
// code block to be executed
}
Statement 1 is executed (one time) before the execution of the code block.
Statement 2 defines the condition for executing the code block.
Statement 3 is executed (every time) after the code block has been executed.
