This is the second video in the OpenCV Tutorial Series
Lesson 2 : Edge Detection & Morphological Operations (Erosion & Dilation)
Edge Detection is one of the most important techniques that is used in Lane Detection applications for Self Driving Cars. Here we understand how to perform edge detection on images. We try to look into how to convert a Grayscale image into a Edge Detected Image using Canny Edge Detection.
We also look into the concepts of Erosion and Dilation which helps us in understanding how to remove noise and emphasize on useful information.
The concepts that we learn in this video will help us carry some of the interesting projects that we'll look in the future.
