Here are some more toys that Tim collected in 2010.

A piece of paper with numbers printed all over it. What does it mean? Well, if you look at the top left hand corner, you can see a '3' followed by a decimal point. Then a '1' then a '4'... yes, it is Pi to quite a lot of decimal places.

A card from New York, with batteries and internal LEDs and fibre optics give a card that lights up in Broadway style. Tim finds it is quite hard to switch it off. Maybe that is a feature - NY is supposed to be the city that never sleeps!

Next, a pen with a built in voice recorder. Push the button at the top, and speak into the pen. You can then replay what you have just said. But this pen has another trick. When you replay the sound, you can adjust the replay speed by sliding a knurled wheel at the top of the pen - you can speed up the replay, or slow it dooooown....

Then a small key fob torch that when you shine it on a flat surface shows the time, or if you press a button it shows the date.

Finally, an ornate box containing Chinese Baoding balls. Also known as exercise or meditation balls. Tim always like to find alternative uses for things, and by adding an elastic band he creates 'planet balls' - wind up the elastic, and place the balls on a flat surface and they rotate around each other. These are quite light in weight, but if you do this with ball bearings, they can reverse direction a number of times.
