When we hear descriptive statistics, we are majorly looking at the description of data which is already known to us. For example, a student test score, or even score of the baseball club.
When we here inferential statistics it is the data which is unknown to us. Example, find the height of the men population. We can take a sample from a particular region, using this sample we can come to a conclusion of the population.
