RSX Type-S Interior Update & First OEM+ Mods | Acura Build!

In today's video, The Acura RSX DC5 Build gets some tasteful OEM+ modifications for the interior. Thus making this old Honda more fun to drive! Starting with a rundown of the double din Pioneer Head Unit (with Apple Car Play) and Type R Hazard Button. Then we install the new OEM Shift boot Console and Hybrid Racing Maxim Shift boot collar with a K-Tuned weighted knob. Enjoy!

In my opinion, I love the simplistic and driver focused interior of the Acura RSX (Honda Integra). However, I do enjoy listening to music when I'm not cracking mad amounts of VTEC. Unfortunately I lost (most) of the footage on the double din stereo install on the RSX. BUMMER! But I still wanted to give you a rundown and brief review of the new to me Pioneer 1500NEX and Type R Hazard button. The new unit utilizes the stock amp and subwoofer and REALLY wakes things up. I was amazed with how good this car sounded.

With the interior of the RSX looking better, the one thing that stood out was the hideous shift boot. Fortunately, I had a NEW Acura OEM Center Console boot cover that came with the car. So I figured this would be a good time to upgrade my shift knob and install the Hybrid Racing Universal Shift boot collar so I didn't have any shift boot sag. Install is easy, so it was just a matter of figuring out what shift knob I want to run. The Raceseng titanium knob didn't fit well with the new setup, so K-tuned knob it is for now!

Overall, I love how the interior is looking and feeling. Much of this little stuff ads up. Eventually things will get crazier with a new shifter setup, wheel setup, and seats, but I'm enjoying it for what it is.
