Drunk Drum Groove Lesson

In this week's video, I cover a drunk drumming groove lesson from my new book.

The 10/8 Drum Method provides a literal translation of beats that could previously only be learned by ear. Thoroughly exploring variations on quintuplet-based backbeat grooves, this book opens the door to genres of music that feature an uneven feel in the drum part. The material within will make you comfortable with this subdivision of five by bringing classic drumset ideas to new quintuplet grooves. All of the patterns are centered on a strong backbeat, so it is easy to learn them and use them in practical situations.
