How to Install a WordPress Plugin (Two Methods)

In this video tutorial, I will show you how to install a WordPress plugin using two simple methods.

After installing WordPress Theme, the first thing is to learn how to install a WordPress plugin.

WordPress Plugin : Basically plugins allow you to add new features to WordPress such as add contact form, sliders gallery etc..

There are thousands of paid and free WordPress plugin available for WordPress.
And I'll show you how to install WordPress plugin step by step.

We have covered two methods to install WordPress plugin.

1) Install plugin using WordPress plugin Search
2) Install WordPress plugins manually

1) Install plugin using WordPress plugin Search

The easiest way to install WordPress plugin is to use the plugin
search. After login WordPress dashboard, go to the Plugin - Add
New.

After that click on Add New button, WordPress Plugin directory
window open. In this plugin directory only limited and free plugins
are available.
You can pick the plugin that is best and useful for your
WordPress website or search the plugin in search bar.

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to install Contact Form
plugin.
(Note :- Always connect your pc to a network when you install
plugins or themes from WordPress)

Just click on install now button to install plugin. WordPress will
now download and install the plugin for you.

After installing the plugin it shows success message with link to
activate the plugin. Just click on activate button to activate the
plugin.

That's all your plugin is activate now and successfully install on
your WordPress website.

2) Install WordPress plugin manually

Paid WordPress plugins are not listed in the WordPress plugin
directory. You need to download paid plugins from another
source or websites.
I'll show you how to install WordPress plugins manually.

First go to your WordPress dashboard then go to the Plugins and then
click on Add New
After that click on the Upload Plugin button.

Here you need to click on the Choose File button and select the
plugin which you want to install on your WordPress website.

In this tutorial I'm going to install Contact Form 7 WordPress
plugin.
(Note :- Upload only .zip file of you WordPress plugin.)

Select your WordPress plugin file and click on the install now
button.

After that click on Activate Plugin button to activate the
WordPress plugin.

That's all. Your WordPress plugin is installed now. Now you would
have to configure the settings of your plugins.
