Introducing SolveX: Learn full-stack application programming by solving bugs смотреть онлайн

SolveX is my attempt at empowering anyone to learn programming full fledged applications in a very fun manner. It will build real world applications and you can go ahead and learn a variety of programming topics through solving bugs. The inspiration comes from Rustlings, a highly recommended way to learn the Rust programming language.

The chapters will have an ever increasing amount of technical challenge required to solve them. But at any time you can see the fully working application, even deploy and use it for your own needs. All the software will be available under MIT License.

In this first phase, I am going to create a simple AirBnB clone with a React frontend and a Python backend. It will use PostgreSQL (or MySQL) as a database through SQLAlchemy. There will be Docker, Anisble based setup for local development or deployment to an online server.

The chapters will start with solving simple HTML/CSS issues, then moving on to React concepts, consuming APIs, building APIs with Python (FastAPI). Git will be your primary tool to switch between chapters or to the fully functioning product. In the future, we might look at React Native, search application server, caching and other concepts.

Please bear in mind, as of October 12, 2020, SolveX is in SUPER early stage. So please do NOT expect to have either any running application or chapters to learn from before I put in at least 60 hours into this. This is my part time project, so it might take some time. Sorry about that, but I am still very excited to go on this journey along with whoever is interested in joining.
