The EpocCam app from Elgato allows you to use any iOS device as a wireless webcam for your PC with minimal to low latency. This is a great app to use because for a lot of people the best camera they own is sitting right in their pocket! Unlock the potential of your content by using your iPhone or iPad as a facecam for your stream!

How to use your iPhone as a webcam for streaming?

Using your iPhone as a webcam for streaming could never be easier thanks to the folks over at Elgato and their EpocCam app. This app allows you to wirelessly stream the video feed from any of your iPhone or iPad cameras with little to no latency, giving you a super crisp image that would out perform any webcam on the market.

To get this to work it's really simple, all you need to do is download the app on your iOS device, head to the link in the description above and download/install the EpocCam driver from Elgatos website. Once everything is installed and set up on the app then you can go in to whatever software you want to use the camera with and select it as a video input source, in our example we used OBS!

The style of this video is similar to Sam Woodall and Ashnichrist in parts. A Large influence on this series has come from content creators like Nutty and AndiLippi.
