Design Timer

In this video I am gonna show you how to custom design your countdown timers

Chose the campaign you want and click on “Add Countdown Timer To Your Pages”.

On this page, you can either design the timer yourself or choose one of the templates.

If you want to use one of the templates, simply click on Use Templates.

Templates load in a few seconds. Scroll down to see which one you like the most.

If you see a timer you like, or at least close to the design you have in mind, click on the blue “Use This” button.

In this case I am gonna choose the sticky timer that sticks to the bottom of a sales page..

As you can see the timer appears here, sticking to the bottom of the page.

Now I am gonna make some changes so you see how much you can do with this.

Let’s start from the top and change the color of the timer’s digits. You can see a live preview where the timer is at the bottom of this page.

Next is the boxing. You can have days, hours, minutes and seconds boxed. To do so, click “no box”, make sure it’s not selected, and change the color of “digits background”.

As you can see it totally changes the color and the feel of the timer.

Next you can chose digit’s font. You have quite a few options, so pick a font that suits the rest of your sales page.

One more thing about boxing, you can soften the edges of the boxes by changing the radius of the borders. You can go quite far with this to a point that the box changes shape.

Next option is the timer width. It’s pretty straightforward what it does. You can play with this option once you add the timer to your page.

Next option is the timer’s backdrop. If you check this box, the timer won’t have the backdrop color.

For now let’s put it back and change it’s color. Once really nice thing about the backdrop is that you can change the opacity. Let me show you.

See by reducing opacity, you can see what’s behind the timer. If you do this right based on what’s on your sales page, it can look really elegant.

Next is the positioning of the countdown timer. If you choose ‘no sticky’, the timer appears anywhere on the page you choose. If you choose Stick to Top, it sticks to the top like you see on the screen.

If you choose Stick Bottom, it attaches itself to the bottom of the page as you can see on the screen.

Next option is setting Call To Action. Of course this is an optional feature. Basically if you want to add a call to action message and link the button to a specific page (like a checkout), you can use this option.

You can set the Call To Actions wording, color and font. Same thing with the Call To Action’s button. Wording, font, color, button size and of course the link.

Once you finish designing the timer, click on “Save and get the code button”, copy this code and paste it on any web page you want.

If you make updates to the timer, make sure you copy and paste the new code to your pages.
