Hospital Database Management system on SQL, NoSQL and Python

Managing hospital is a huge task, and many hospitals in the world do not have that many funds to create advance automatic dashboards, which help them in optimizing time and providing better services to patients. There are many numbers of hospitals in a developing nation who does not possess a digital database record system of the patient. Due to this problem, it hard to track what kind of medicines were given priority and what were the test reports of the patient. The patient needs to maintain manual records of their past diagnosis reports. The second big problem is that the patient needs to wait for a high amount of time before getting appropriate treatment. Thirdly, many hospitals in developing countries have poor staff coordination. At times no one is there to monitor patients, beds are not cleaned, and modern medicines are not given to patients. Digital platforms for managing hospitals helps the hospital to track their staff activities and schedule staff members according to requirements.

We are creating a system that focuses on improving the process of hospitals. This will be a digital system that will help hospitals in providing better facilities to the patient, better communication between staff members, quick diagnosis, and better customer experience. This system will also help in carbon reduction as everything will be done paperless. This is the first step to build something cheap and eco-friendly for hospitals that do not have that many resources. The future vision of this project is to create an automatic record base system that will prescribe medicine to patients based on their symptoms and prior health records. Many countries in the world do not have adequate hospitals and doctors, and so such a system will help them to focus more on emergencies. This will reduce emergency patient wastage time and create better service experience for patients.

Basic requirements of this project are to get accurate real-time data from hospitals so that we can do effective data modelling and pass on our recommendations to hospitals. One of the examples of the application of our project can be used to track coronavirus patients whenever any corona patients get admitted to our hospital, we can use his address to quarantine nearby people or do effective testing of such people by taking precautionary measures.
