Android Studio Bitbucket GIT Integration Tutorial - How to Use Bitbucket GIT in Android Studio - Cloning / Synching / Import a Remote project

In the first part of the tutorial [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nHGCFKtYlw] we created a new repository, and linked it to Bitbucket. On this video I am going to show you how to clone the remote repository in to your local machine.

Cloning or synching a project in bitbucket GIT is simple and very easy in Android Studio. No plugin is required and is fully supported natively by Android Studio.

To clone a project select the "Check out project from Version Control" option on the Welcome screen of Android Studio. Selecting that option will ask you next which version control system you would like to check out - in our case we are going to use Git. After the Git vcs has been selected, a popup will be displayed asking for the details to start the cloning.
Vcs Repository URL - You can get this value from the Bitbucket project overview page. This is located on the upper right portion of the page.
Parent Directory - This should be filled up automatically.
Directory Name - This will be filled up automatically once the Repository URL has been entered. Take note that the value entered may not be the same as your original project. Adjust this as necessary.

After those values has been entered, you may test if the connection to Bitbucket is ok by clicking the Test button. This will attempt to connect to the repository, but without actually doing the cloning. If this is the first time that you will use this bitbucket git account, it will prompt you for a password - enter the password to proceed.

After the Test determines that you can connect to the Bitbucket Git remote repository, you can now click the Clone button to begin the Bitbucket GIT Clone process.
