Terminator T-5000 Explained

With Terminator Dark Fate releasing in a few short months I wanted to revisit my explained series on the lore of Terminator, obviously at the time of writing and recording this video, the canon for the universe is undoubtedly in question, as we don’t know what the new movie will establish.

However, that being said, today I wanted to explore the T-5000 that was introduced first and, last, in Terminator Genisys.
It was a unique expansion to the lore, though not one that makes an awful lot of sense when we really dissect it.

The T-5000 was one of Skynets last creations before the final battle, an advanced model in the Terminator series of robotics that served in the war, the only T-5000 shown on screen was in fact inhabited by Skynet.
Due to this, it isnt known if this was always the intention of the T-5000 and it was a singular unit for this purpose, or, it was many, and Skynet transferring its consciousness into the model we see in the opening act of Terminator Genisys, was merely out of necessity.
