How to make a bohemian macrame rainbow wall hanging

Macrame wall hanging: 35 x 55 cm (13.77” x 21.65”)

Materials needed:

Cotton cord 5 mm natural:
To the wall hanging:
28 x 280 cm ( 28 x 110.23”)
To the rainbow:
4 x 120 cm ( 4 x 47.24”)
4 x 140 cm ( 4 x 55.11”)
4 x 160 cm ( 4 x 62.99”)
4 x 180 cm ( 4 x 70.86”)

Cotton cord 5 mm in four different colors of your choice:
Natural 150 cm ( 59.05”)
Laurel 180 cm ( 70.86”)
Eucalyptus 200 cm ( 78.74”)
Avocado 230 cm ( 90.55”)

Stick 35 cm (13.77”)
Scissors
Textile adhesive
Glue gun
Tape measure

Lark’s Head Knots:
1.First fold your cord in half.
2.Pass the folded cord end under the object you’ll tie your knot onto, making a sort of “loop” in the cord’s fold.
3.Now pick up the two cord ends, and bring them up over the object, and through the “loop” of the cord’s fold.
4.Grasp the two cord ends, and pull them tightly until the loop is snugged up against the stick.

Square Knots:
1.Start with four cords.
2. Bring the left cord over and to the right of the two anchor cords.
3. Place the right cord over the left cord.
4. Bring the right cord under the anchors and through the loop formed by the left cord.
5. Pull and you have the first half of the Square Knot.
6. Bring the right cord over and to the left of the two anchor cords and place the left cord over it.
7. Bring the left cord under the anchors and through the loop formed by the right cord.
8. Pull the cords and you have the finished Square Knot.
