Two types of Test cases are there:

1) Positive Test Cases
2) Negative Test Cases

A) Positive Test Cases are:

1. Installation Testing
2.UI Testing: or Design based Testing
3. Usability testing
4. Functional Testing
5. Non Functional Testing
6. Performance and Load Testing
8. Compatibility testing

Let's explain one by one:

1. Installation Testing:

1. Verify all the parts of the Refrigerator are available or not
2. Verify all the Refrigerator's legs are fitted properly.
3. Verify that both the Refrigerator doors are fitted properly If it is two or multiple door refrigerator
4. Verify that the installation process is given into manual or not.
5. Verify that the power wire is given with the refrigerator or not
6. Verify that the Refrigerator gets turned on or not after plugging in the power source.
7. Verify that the light is turned on as power on.

8. Verify the weight of the Refrigerator

3. Usability testing :

5. Functional Testing :

4. Verify that light in refrigerator turn off when closed.
5. Verify that how much time it takes to chill the water.

9. Write test cases for all the settings that are mentioned in the manual for the refrigerator.
10. Verify for the brightness of the light
11. Verify if the light is producing heat when the door is opened for longer time
12. Verify for the compressor cut off time.
13. Verify the defrost mode

6. Non Functional Testing:

1. Test whether the object (a Refrigerator of in this case) looks like a Refrigerator (obviously there must be some expected result by which you can Verify and can say --yes this is a Refrigerator )

3. Switch off the power and check how long cooling remains.
4. Verify the lock of the refrigerator.

B) Negative Test Cases
