grounded [1] is a single screen platform game, currently has nine levels.

Controls:

* [arrow]: movement
* [z]: fire
* [space]: jump
* [F5]: full-screen
* [F1]: skip to next level

The goal is to get the key and advance to next level.

The windowed resolution is 640x480. I only ran the C and Python version and recorded with the C version (~ 24-25 FPS), don't know about C++ and Java, but I guess they would look and feel the same.

This is a good game, definitely playable and I don't see any bugs. But it doesn't get any updates since February, it could be made more complete. For instances, a title screen, options menu, end game, etc.

*Note this offtopic has nothing to do with the code in [1], I didn't even read it, so the thoughts are not about the ability of the author of [1] or the quality of his codes.*

I think it's the question why you *need* to learn four languages. (not implementation and reinvention of wheels) Just recently, I was talking to someone about people seem to _claim_ the ability to code in so many languages, but when you examine their codes, even you doesn't even know about the language very well, you probably could tell if this person can really code to some level of quality.

To me, it's more like an entry to be listed on CV rather than you take it as a pride in respect of a good programming language. It's more like strategy, a trick to make people think you are good at programming, a mean to fraudulently secure your job or gig.

It's so sad to see such phenomenon, many people can't even code okay in one language let alone the ten listed in his or her CV.

But the truth and reality is, too many people can't even grasp the concept of coding, but shamelessly title themselves as "programmer." To me, "programmer" and "coder" are even different, same to "coding" and "programming."

We have too many bad codes and bad coders around us, and we really need change our mindset about being overly-falsified skills in that many languages. Just focus on one or two that you truly like.
