User Account Control is a security feature in Windows that helps prevent unauthorized changes to your computer. When UAC is turned on, apps and tasks that require administrator permissions will prompt you for confirmation before they can make changes to your PC. This helps protect your PC from malware and other malicious software that could potentially make changes to your system without your knowledge.

UAC can be bypassed by malware in several ways. One common method is to use a process called DLL hijacking. In this process, the malware replaces a legitimate DLL file with a malicious one. When the system tries to load the DLL, the malware is executed instead. Another common method is to use a process called process hollowing. In this process, the malware creates a new process and injects its code into it.

Privilege escalation is a technique attackers use to gain access to resources or data that are normally outside of their control. By exploiting vulnerabilities or misconfigurations, they can elevate their privileges and gain access to sensitive information or systems. Privilege escalation can be used to gain access to sensitive data, execute malicious code, or even take over a system.
