Computer Vision Lecture3 – image Processing in OpenCV - Part4

- Template Matching:
-- The Aim:
Create an object in an image using matching templates.
We'll learn to use the methods: cv2.matchTemplate(), cv2.minMaxLoc ().
-- Theory :
Template matching is a method for finding and locating a template for an image within a larger image. The OpenCV library provides the cv2.matchTemplate () method to perform the template matching operation.
Let us initially agree on two terms, which are the image of the template and the image of the target. If we want to search, for example, for the image of the child's face in the following image, then we call the face image as the template, and the image inside which we searched for the image of the face with the target image.
- Hough Line Transform:
-- The Aim:
We will learn what is the concept of converting Hough.
We'll see how to use the Hough transform to reveal the lines in the image.
We'll learn to use the following methods: cv2.HoughLines (), cv2.HoughLinesP ().
- Hough Circle Transform:
-- The Aim:
We'll learn to use the Hough transform to find the circles in the image.
We will learn to use the method: cv2.HoughCircle ().
