This evening we are focusing on code quality and reusability. Our speakers will give you their view on readability, managing complexity, and reusability of code. All driven by their knowledge and enthusiasm on these subjects.

We have the following two great sessions: Vincent Keizer will first show us how you can improve your code quality, a session with practical tips. Next, we have Tijmen Amsing, he will show us how you can use Angular monorepos for code reuse and consistency. A session packed with demos!

#Abstract:
There are many opinions about code quality, what one developer values in terms of code quality may be very different than what another developer values. But what should be important to all developers is readability and managing complexity. It is a constant effort to keep the quality of the code high.

In this session Vincent will give his view on maintainable and readable code. He will give some practical tips on how to evolve to a high-quality codebase.

Title: Setting up an enterprise-ready Angular monorepo and CI

#Abstract:
The ability to reuse code is important. But publishing your Angular library to a feed and then installing it in another project can become cumbersome and allows for a widespread of package versions to be used over multiple projects. Monorepos provide an alternative way to code reuse and consistency. But for teams to effectively work with monorepos, some tooling is required.

In this session, Tijmen demonstrates how Nx can help manage an Angular monorepo and how it enables direct code reuse among multiple apps and libraries. He also shows how to maintain code quality by using schematics, lint rules and dependency visualization. At last, Tijmen demonstrates how to create a high performing Azure Pipeline that only builds and tests projects that were affected by a change.
