Some commands::
For creating git environment for a git repository in a folder:: git init
This command is used to start a new repository.
To check the status of this folder files for git:: git status
This command lists all the files that have to be committed.
To add file in a repo::
git add .
git add “File name”
This command adds a file to the staging area.
To make a commit for a git push:: git commit -m "your commit.."
This command records or snapshots the file permanently in the version history.
For connecting folder with GitHub repo:: git remote add origin 'your repo link'
Push the file as master:: git push origin master
for clear:::: clear
To see git history for this repository::
git log
git log –oneline
This command is used to list the version history for the current branch.
To go that version:: git checkout 'log number'
This command is used to go on that log branch or in another branch.
For comeback to master branch from that version or branch:: git checkout master
This command is used to come back in master branch.
To give an author name:: git config --global user.name "your name"
To give an author email:: git config --global user.email "your email"
To give an author name only for this folder:: git config user.name "your name"
To give an author email only for this folder:: git config user.email "your email"
To see author list:: git config –list
This command is used to give a name for controller, so that anyone can see how have change this or update this system.
