Welcome to chipnut coding club.
In this video we are going to talk about what is coding? What can you do if you know coding. Before talking about coding, watch these animations and games.
Space animation – What all can you see here? Monkey is floating. An asteroid going here and there. Rocket moving towards earth. Stars shining.
Another animation. You can see plant growing as you water the plant.
There is a game here. Ghost catching game. The ghost appears at random places and you have to catch the ghost. When you catch the ghost the score increases.
Car game. When you click the left arrow car moves left, when you click the right arrow car moves right.
All these are interesting, isn’t it? How does car know, when you click left arrow it has to move left. When you click right arrow it has to move right..
To do this we have to communicate with the car. How to communicate? For that we have special languages. These languages are called programming languages. Some examples are java, python, scratch. Try to find other programming languages.
Using these languages we give step by step instruction to the car or ghost or monkey in our examples. The step by step instruction is known as code.
Coding is for automation.
Coding is fun.
Coding is interesting.
If you know coding, you can create movies, animations, games and more.
In our coding club we are going to do all these and have lot of fun!
