Hello and welcome to our Java series for beginners. After a break longer than we anticipated, we are back with a new tutorial, this time covering the main method. It has been our endeavor to keep this series at the beginners' level, and we have accordingly reiterated some of the key concepts to make sure that they are not overlooked. This tutorial is no exception, and in this we take a fairly in-depth look at the main method and its signature, something which is often treated pretty superficially. If you have been asking questions about the main method and its "String[] args", and wondering why at all do the words public, static, and void feature with it, then this tutorial is for you.
