Today we are going to learn How to enable WordPress Debugging mode - Enable wp_debug. This will help us in debugging our WordPress website whenever we have some issues or errors.

When you enable wp_debug or enable WordPress debugging mode, it will much easier for you to locate any errors within your WordPress website. You would be able to identify any plugins or themes that may be causing the errors.


Now lets start with enabling the WordPress debugging mode. To do this first you need to reach to wp-config.php file of your WordPress installation and with a simple edit to this file, you will be able to view any errors or issues appearing in your WordPress website.


Please follow the steps below to Enable WordPress debug in cPanel
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*First login into your hosting provider and access cPanel account.
*Once you are in cPanel, Click on File manager under File section of cPanel.
*Go to your Public_html or the directory where your WordPress installation is residing
*Now under that folder find the file named 'wp-config.php' and edit it.
* On editing the code will appear in a new window.
*You will notice by default debugging mode is disabled and a code like this will be available on that page
"define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);'.
*On the above code just change false to true, now the code will look like this
"define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );".
*Click on save change button to save your changes to update the configuration file.

*You have enabled debugging in WordPress, you should now be able to see any errors that are produced within your WordPress website.
