PayPal Payment Link Ad Example - Custom HTML WordPress Ads

This video demonstrates how to create a new Site entry with custom HTML code for a PayPal Payment Link with the Product Style Advertising WordPress Plugin.

Although the Product Style WordPress Plugin is designed for fast ad creation through the API system for Amazon affiliates, it is also capable of being used to manually create ads for other affiliate networks.

To show just how flexible this plugin really is, this video shows how to set up PayPal Payment Links to be used as part of advertisements created in the plugin. This does NOT mean that there is a backend system in the plugin that will handle the actual order processing (delivering a downloadable ebook that is purchased, for example). However, it is an excellent example of how the plugin can really be used to make any kind of ad that has a destination address, even when a portion of that URL changes with each ad.

These ads can be used on their own or combined into product comparison charts to be inserted into WordPress posts and pages. Product comparison charts even allow for ads from multiple networks to be combined into a single chart for the ultimate in product comparison review.

The first step to creating a custom Site entry in the plugin is to provide the HTML code that will be used for the Image and Text links that can be created for each Site in the plugin. This HTML code should be based on the destination URL of the website/network.

A number of different tags are available that can be used within this HTML code to represent information that will change from one ad to the next. In the video example, the unique string of letters and numbers provided by PayPal for a saved payment link becomes the "AID" tag. When an ad is created, that unique code for the payment link is provided, which then replaces the tag in the HTML code.

Once the Site entry for PayPal is created, product information is needed for each ad that will be created. In this video, this step has been left out. A variety of options are available when the ad is created that can change the way the ad works or looks. One of these options, the Ad Style, controls the overall design of the ad. Default Ad Styles can be used or new ones can be created without any programming or web design knowledge so the ad will fit the look of any website.
