Magical East Java

10 days motorcycle road trip through 1600kms of the magical East Java. What an amazing place! Beautiful beaches, off beaten path waterfalls, rich in biodiversity and the mountain regions are just “literally” on fire! I rode 1600km, taking countless pictures and footages along the way.

Some of the highlights from this trip were to be able to see hundreds of deer passing through a savannah in Baluran. Lucky enough to be able to witness a 1-meter long green turtle laying 120 eggs in Sukamade. Then there’s the blue fire in Ijen. And of course, catching the sunrise in Bromo never gets old.

Also worth mentioning, I met the beach cat which I thought really hilarious as she kept walking along as I walked from the village to the beach in Sukamade. It was a one km walk.

One of the most memorable things is when on my way to Sukamade (Meru Betiri National Park) I fell from the bike, not once, but twice. Damn my bike is just too heavy and it’s so not off-road friendly which where I took it :p

In most part of the trip, I went solo road trip aside from the first and the last days. Thanks to Puji and Arnanda for helping me capture some of these footages.

I hope I can go on and create videos like this for each region in Java!
