According to Euler’s theorem, value of homogeneous function corresponding to its degree of homogeneity can be written as a summation of the product of first order partial derivative and the corresponding independent variable.
Partial differentiation is used to differentiate functions which are dependent on more than one variable. Partial differentiation is built on the concepts of ordinary differentiation and before

In fact, for a function of one variable, the partial derivative is the same as the
ordinary derivative.
For finding first order partial derivative with respect to x, then the variable y is kept as constant and must be treated as per the constant rule of differentiation whose differentiation is 0
The second order partial derivatives are obtained by differentiating the first order partial derivatives again with respect to the independent variables
