Now then...regardless of the different hings people are saying I will re-iterate...

THIS IS A WIFI device that has been fitted atop of streetlights. The OFFICIAL story is that it controls streetlights.

I saw the price of a PLUG that fits into this thing priced at £40 so you can take a wild guess at what these cost. In other words it has been EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE to fit them and if they wanted to save money it would have been cheaper to fit LED lights!

Whether this actually connects to a camera, wired or wirelessly, I cannot say.

I am aware of what it states on the label but if it WERE a surveillance device it is hardly going to say that on the label now it it? Imagine some kid with binoculars shouting 'Mummy, there is a streetlight outside my bedroom window that say SPYING ON YOU CAMERA in big letters?!" LOL.

When they were messing around with these on the lights OUTSIDE my mates store we asked them what they were doing and the said and I QUOTE "We are cleaning the lights!" but went up on their platforms without any cleaning materials, brushes, rags or even sprays in anyway and nor did they open up the lens cases.

So they lied and now WHY would they do that?

The people I have spoken to directly, along with many I have seen on various internet sites and forums, are CONVINCED these are used to SPY and the common perception is that they are linked to cameras somewhere.

I DO NOT SAY THAT, others say that and the councils, if innocent though still look to be wasting vast amounts of cash yet again, are not doing themselves any favours by not informing the public and getting the people fitting them to lie about what they are doing.
