Can you tell me why Python is better than PHP?

Python and PHP are both pretty popular. The difference is in the application and availability of resources.

What about PHP?

PHP is popular for little projects and stuff that just sits on your server. Python is preferred by big businesses for large scale projects and enterprise wide applications.

Why would I care about that?

PHP is popular with hobbyists. Businesses vote with dollars for Python programmers.
