- Python is a general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level programming language in nature that makes it applicable in almost each domain of software development. Python as a whole can be used in any sphere of development.

1) Web Applications:
- Java, PHP(Hypertext Preprocessor (earlier called, Personal Home Page)), .Net and also Python used for web applications.

- Web sites can not be developed directly using languages.

- So we need to use Web Technologies/Frameworks.

For Python : DJango, FLASK, WEB2Py

For Java : Struts, SPRING, JSF, Servlet and/or JSP
For .NET : Asp.MVC

What is web application?

A web application is collection of static, dynamic web resource programs whose responsility is to generate web pages on client side(brower)-static or dynamic.

- We can use Python to develop web applications. It provides libraries to handle internet protocols such as HTML and XML, JSON, Email processing, request, beautifulSoup, Feedparser etc.
It also provides Frameworks such as Django, Pyramid, Flask etc to design and delelop web based applications.
Some important developments are: PythonWikiEngines, Pocoo, PythonBlogSoftware etc.

2) Desktop GUI(Graphical User Interface) Applications:
- Python provides 'Tk GUI library' to develop user interface in python based application.
Some other useful toolkits wxWidgets, Kivy, pyqt that are useable on several platforms. The Kivy is popular for writing multitouch applications.

3) Software Development:
- Python is helpful for software development process. It works as a support language and can be used for build control and management, testing etc.

4) Scientific and Numeric Applications:
- Python is popular and widely used in scientific and numeric computing.
Some useful library and package are SciPy, Pandas, IPython etc.

SciPy is group of packages of engineering, science and mathematics.

- NASA is using only a python language to develop applications.

5) Business Applications:
- Python is used to build Bussiness applications like ERP and e-commerce systems.
Tryton is a high level application platform.

6) Console Based Application:
- We can use Python to develop console based applications. For example: IPython.

7) Audio or Video based Applications:
- Python is awesome to perform multiple tasks and can be used to develop multimedia applications.
Some of real applications are: TimPlayer, cplay etc.

8) 3D CAD Applications:
- To create CAD application Fandango is a real application which provides full features of CAD.

9) Enterprise Applications:
- Python can be used to create applications which can be used within an Enterprise or an Organization.

- Some real time applications are: OpenErp, Tryton, Picalo etc.

10) Applications for Images:
- Using Python several application can be developed for image processing operation like feature extraction using predefined library.

- Applications developed are: VPython, Gogh, imgSeek etc.

11) Automation Apps:

- Automation industries are using Python in Robotics.

- Robotics are Mechtronics(Mechanical + Electrical + Eletronics + Computer Languages) device/macines, Generally robotics dont have intelligence by default, By applying Artificial Intelligence algorithms, we can apply artificial intelligence by using Python.

- Languges are for processing the data but not for storing the data.

- After reading the data,
the data is represented in pie-chart, Barchart, curve lines for visualization.

- 'R' language is used for analytics but not used for streaming.

- Now a days Google, Yahoo, Youtube are using web scrapping.

For Ex: If you are searching for iPhone 7s in google, The next day if you are opening any e-commerce website like Flipkart,Indiarush, Jabong, abof etc there you can see the products of iPhone 7s. This is because of web scrapping.


14) Network with IOT(Internet of Things) applications:
- IOT allows you to connect to various networks. It can also be connected to the smartphone, washing machines, any home or office appliances, Vehicle etc...

- 90 percent cyber attack (Hackers) are done through IOT devices.

15) Administration Script:
- It is used for high level administration for enterprize administration, Shell Administration.

- For IBM to launch the wsadmin tool and connect to a server, job manager, or administrative agent profile, or run the tool in local mode. If you launch the wsadmin tool, use the interactive mode examples to run scripts. To enter the command from the bin directory to launch the wsadmin tool and connect to a server etc.....
