Introduction to Assignment
Congratulations on completing the first 2 modules of this training :)


Now, it’s time to take the first step and start structuring and creating your own website. The website which you are going to create as a part of your assignments (this assignment + other module assignments) and final project is called PGLife. Yes, you heard that right! We have specifically designed this project keeping in mind how challenging it is for the students to search for good accommodation when they join college/university. I guess you might also have faced the challenge of finding good accommodation when you joined college.

So, let’s get started.


Part I: Creating necessary folder structure

First things first, create a new folder ‘PGLife’ inside the htdocs folder where you will place all your files. For now, create two folders ‘css’ and ‘js’ inside the ‘PGLife’ folder. Download this zip folder named ‘img’ and unzip it and place it inside the ‘PGLife’ folder. Inside the ‘img’ folder you will find all the necessary images required to create the web application. Now, regarding the HTML files, you already know how and where to place them inside the folder.

Note: Make sure that the name of the folder is 'img' and not something else.


Part II: Some technicalities

Unzip and Zip:
You need to use some archiving software such as 7-zip or WinZip/WinRar to unzip the contents of the file which you have downloaded. You can also use the same software to zip the files before uploading the solution.
For example - In this assignment, we just told you to download the ‘img’ zip folder. This folder contains all the images that are required to create the PGLife web application. Once you download this folder, you will have to unzip it in order to use the images.


Submission
After completing the assignment, you will have to first zip the ‘PGLife’ folder which you have already created inside the htdocs folder. And, then upload the zip folder from the progress report.


Solution
This assignment will be a continuation of the module 3 assignment. So, you will be able to download the solution once you have completed the module 3 assignment and have uploaded its solution.
