In today's video, we're talking about how you can unlock tremendous value from your data with OpenAI's new ChatGPT plugin called Code Interpreter. This revolutionary tool basically acts as your personal data scientist and programmer, capable of data forecasting, visualization, and even error detection in your data sets, all in a snap!

Code Interpreter simplifies and expedites data interpretation, quickly transforming your natural language prompt into pseudo code, then real code, before delivering results. This means it can swiftly interpret large datasets, identify trends, compare variables and more, tasks that would usually require a professional data scientist.

An example from Ben Jones, the CEO of Data Literacy, showcased the prowess of Code Interpreter with airline data. By simply uploading the data and requesting a visual representation, ChatGPT provided python code and graphs, all easily understandable and accurate. It is a tool that not only saves time but also empowers those who do not have access to a data scientist to learn more from their data.

Patrick Blumenthal used Code Interpreter to create a comprehensive map of UFO sightings, while others have used it to map crime rates in San Francisco and connect to Spotify's API for music data. ChatGPT's Code Interpreter brings simplicity to complex tasks, interpreting and executing code, making it a handy tool for various fields including education, business, customer service, healthcare, finance, and game development.

But how does it work? At its core, ChatGPT is a large language model, having read every piece of code documentation. When tasked with a coding problem, it initially creates a "pseudo code," which then can be transformed into any programming language, like Python. Other players in the market like Microsoft's Bing AI are also incorporating plugins. Bing AI can now perform tasks like booking restaurants and showing images or videos, and supports plugins, making the GPT-4 powered system accessible for others.

Fun fact. ChatGPT's Code Interpreter could potentially solve the infamous McDonald's ice cream machine problem, by interpreting the archaic code of the machine into natural language, making it understandable for anyone.
