1. Authentication: I used Firebase authentication to handle user sign-ups, logins, and secure access to user-specific content. Firebase also provided us with a secure and scalable backend infrastructure for our platform.

2. React: I used React for building our user interface and creating dynamic components such as search bars, video players, and comment sections. React allowed to build a fast and responsive UI that's highly customizable and easy to maintain.
