BnS - Hex Editing Basics

Hey guys! So I've had a lot of people ask me to teach them how to mod and stuff, so... I decided to sit down and make a tutorial myself to explain it. I tried my best to explain it in as easy to understand manner as possible... hopefully it worked out that way.

Please note that this is just basics for the general case. Sometimes there are weird files that don't follow the normal format and this method won't necessarily work.

I am sorry that the audio/video quality is kinda crap, but this is the best I have that I can work with (MY POOR POTATO LAPTOP Q_Q) But... I figured that this is better than nothing and should help answer some questions.

To basically recap the tutorial:
1) Get the information and skeleton/material files for both your base/original item and your target item
2) Rename the files to match the skeleton/material numbers for your base item
3) In the SKELETON file: change the core number (#####_Autoscale)
4) In the MATERIAL file: change the col#

To make an invisible gauntlet, you need to change the core number in the skeleton to something incorrect (I like to use 00000 because that's easy to understand and see). You need to do this for the skeleton files for the gauntlet you want AND the skeleton for hongmoon.

Some troubleshooting tips if you have problems:
1) Invisible item = problem with core numbers
2) Garbled texture = problem with material col#
3) Yellow and Purple colored = problem with material (this problem can sometimes be caused by other things and is hard to solve)
4) Sometimes if something goes wrong, it's easier to start again from scratch

The glasses and outfit will also apply to Lyn males btw since both Lycan's Sorrow and the Cerulean Uniform are both unisex items.
