Conditional formatting allows you to apply automatic formatting to cells in excel that meet certain specified criteria. It primarily uses colour formatting which allows the user to easily focus on and distinguish between data on a spreadsheet.

Apply Conditional Formatting to columns B, C & D to show all values greater than 69 using a green fill.

Select the Cells in Column B, C & D (cells B2:D10)

On the Home tab in the Styles Group click Conditional Formatting

Select Highlight Cell Rules then Select Greater Than

Enter 69 and select Custom Format
