Using Matplotlib inside ParaView Python View to plot graphs, charts, and histograms [On Demand 11]
As you know, we use ParaView a lot, and we have covered its basic concepts in the visualization series (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6fjYEpJFi7W6ayU8zKi7G0-EZmkjtbPo), including the Python interface. But, Python integration in ParaView is not limited to the Python Interface (PvPython), and there are other tools featuring Python for people who are comfortable with using it, an example of which is Python View. Python View provides us with an easy-to-use way to plot graphics created in Python inside ParaView, and nice integration with the popular Matplotlib package allows us to create any type of Matplotlib plot out of data available in ParaView objects. We can also play with the objects using any other Python package we already know. It is very exciting, isn’t it? Let’s see how we can do that!
