❓Here showed how to setup git with GitHub account.
Once you install git you need to set it up with your global username and valid email address which is connected with the GitHub account.

Another thing which is very important to setup editor. Normally by default it will show you VIM editor. But for the first time user it is bit hard to grasp all the VIM command.
So it is handy to setup Notepad++

?setup configuration details-

git config --global user.name firstname lastname (your github account)
git config --global user.email [email protected] (your github email address)

Notepadd ++ setup
git config --global core.editor "'C:/Program Files/Notepad++/notepad++.exe' -multiInst -notabbr -nosession -noPlugin" (location of the editor)

Sublime Text editor setup
git config --global core.editor "'C:/Program Files (x86)/sublime text 3/subl.exe' -w"

Atom editor setup
git config --global core.editor "atom --wait"

Visual Studio Code editor setup
git config --global core.editor "code --wait"
