Eryo - Wonderfall - Mistiquemusic

His original productions and remixes for Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's Mistiquemusic have been nothing short of brilliant over the last 2 years. His recent 'Renaissance' EP was a Release Promo office favourite and also a Hype Chart Essential release. This week sees the release of Eryo's first full length album entitled 'Universe'. The album begins with the celestial sounds of 'As We Rise Again', classic sounding pads, warm synth elements and a beautiful emotional content encompassed during the breakdown makes this one of Eryo's best productions to date. Simply gorgeous. The slightly tougher sounding beats of 'Mirrors' follows with its grinding bass line and gorgeous plucky lead that effortlessly pulls at your heart strings. The shuffled break beats of 'New Era' bring back the spacey, ethereal vibe from the first track quite nicely. The chords are absolutely gorgeous; warm and beautifully textured, just a pleasure to listen to. The breakdown introduces a breathtaking piano which conjures up images of sunny country sides. Absolutely stunning stuff from Eryo. The smooth flowing lines of 'Ocean Sunset' is next and it comes with another brilliant piano piece by Eryo, the subtle key changes and soaring chords really create a nice subtle and understated melodic vibe. A classic timeless sound from Eryo. The pure progressive house groove of 'Things We Can't Explain' is next. The cascading clusters of melodic keys work their magic here for another brilliant journey from Eryo. 'Tides Of Time' and Universe' are next and both follow that Eryo formula of smooth melodic lines and a great piano section during the drop, it's dreamy sounding stuff that's quite captivating, particularly 'Universe' which might be one of the standouts on the album. As the LP begins to wind down we are met with 'Wonderfall' which is perhaps the biggest sounding track on the album, unabashedly epic and grand sounding with a massive widescreen appeal. Closing the album out is Eryo's collaboration with Kay-D entitled 'Clear Mind'. It's full of the beautiful soundscapes that these two great producers are so loved for, a serene and peaceful journey to end of a wonderful collection of music from Eryo and Mistiquemusic.
