Embeding Google Sheets In Wordpress Tutorial (2021)

In this video, we are embedding Google Sheets to a WordPress website page in two ways. There is an option to use the Google EMBED code in the File Publish to the web option or the second option is to use a WordPress plugin named EmbedPress.



Using the first option we have to have a little bit of coding experience to change the width and height of the Google Sheets document that appears on our page. To embed the document to a page we need to copy the full iframe code that we can find in the Google Sheets File Publish to the web by clicking the EMBED option.


Paste that code in the desired spot on our page and we are done after changing the width and height of that document. For me always works: width="100%" height="800px" pasted right after the word iframe.


The second option to embed Google Sheets and many other document types on WordPress is to use the EmbedPress plugin. It supports embedding: all other google docs, youtube, maps, Vimeo, wistia videos & upload pdf, ppt, etc. The plugin supports Classic Editor, Elementor, and Block Editor.


To embed a document all we need to do is again to open the Google Sheets document and click on File Publish to the web option and instead of EMBED, chose the link tab, copy the link and paste it to our page. After that all we need to do is to open the EmbedPress editor by clicking on the pen and change the document width and height by our needs.
