Sketchup into vCarve Pro Tutorial
In this video I will share how to setup a component designed in Sketchup to import for cutting on the CNC with Vectric vCarve Pro or Aspire Software. This video is a follow-up to a video that was posted the day before on building a cart for components. People requested that I demonstrate how I would export this cart into vCarve Pro if I wanted to cut this on my CNC. That is what I am trying to share with this video.
If I had actually planned on cutting this with my CNC, I would have taken more time to design some snap together joiner as I have done with other builds, such as that in the below Snap Together Shelf Video produced in collaboration with Laguna Tools. With that said this video does demonstrate a useful work process that I use often - designing furniture/cabinetry in Sketchup and then exporting that design into vCarve Pro for cutting on my CNC.
