Hello, everyone, this is Jeremy from Dust3D. Dust3D is a quick 3D modeling software. I usually post one video to talk about what happened during the past week, also I make one model using Dust3D everyday to test the software, please follow my twitter to see the daily fresh models.

Ok, let’s see what happened during last week.

Erlend suggested a Prop Generator to our forum, and he would like to pay 20 dollars for this feature. I guess this is the first paid work advertised. It’s a very exciting news. And I have the similar thought in my mind for several months, is use the Lua language to procedurally generate the nodes based on the parameters provided, and the parameters are expose to user on the UI.
There is a video posted by Esther Zuidgeest talked about how a procedural spider been generated according to the parameters, she implemented in Houdini. This feature could be useful not only for generating trees and grass but also for generating variations of animals.
If you are familiar with how to integrate Lua language with C++ and would like to take part in this feature, please comment to our forum or raise a new issue on github. We can talk more details before implementation.
If no one is interested, then this feature may need to delay until 1.0 stable version been released.

Next, Satish Goda suggested combining multiple operations into one undo step. Satish come from Pearl Studio Animation, he is very supportive for Dust3D and he also took part in the 10minuteseverday activity sometimes, please check his twitter, link in the description.
I remember my twitter friend Sawm Fawk also suggested similar thing half year ago, and because there are always other features or bugs are on much higher priority, so this feature is not implemented yet. If someone want take part in, please comment to the issue on github, link in the description.

There is another thing is worth to mention, Dust3D is been listed as reference tool of a video course by National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning, from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
