This video is the part of Java Coding Bootcamp series in which we will take you through all the information about Methods and Arrays ( 1D and 2D ).
Briefing out Methods and Arrays (1D and 2D )-
A method in Java is a block of statements that has a name and can be executed by calling (also called invoking) it from some other place in your program. Along with fields, methods are one of the two elements that are considered members of a class. (Constructors and initializers are not considered class members.)
One Dimensional Array in java is always used with only one subscript([]). A one-dimensional array behaves likes a list of variables. You can access the variables of an array by using an index in square brackets preceded by the name of that array. Index value should be an integer.
Whereas , 2D arrays are stored as arrays of arrays. Therefore, the way 2D arrays are declared is similar 1D array objects. 2D arrays are declared by defining a data type followed by two sets of square brackets.
