[04x01] How to create Desktop Apps using Julia, VS Code & PackageCompiler.jl [Julia Desktop Apps]

In this coding tutorial, you'll learn how to create desktop applications using Julia.
You'll go through a complete desktop app development workflow, starting with creating raw source code in Julia and then converting it into an executable file using the PackageCompiler.jl package. You'll also learn how to wrap the app inside an installer and how to deploy and install your app onto a different computer that doesn't have Julia installed on it. You'll also learn some of the challenges of using Julia to develop desktop apps.
This tutorial is intended for amateurs and hobbyists.
This tutorial is episode 1 of a 13-part series and is part of the Julia "Desktop Apps" playlist.
